Question: Since I stopped working in Jan (~ 6 months ago)…
… I have been a full-time dad so my wife could settle into her new job after 7 years at home, I’ve done some ad-hoc consulting and C# coding to integrate a restaurant payment system to the company’s accounting package, worked two 1/2 days per week in the local primary school and spent 10 hours a week volunteer counselling people who experience mental illness and have suicidal thoughts or tendencies.
So… what, if any of this, should I put on my CV?
I’ve always been an all-rounder and “T-shaped individual” (which is my strength) but I fear such a diverse set of skills leaves me vulnerable to not being understood or being seen as relevant when sometimes only learns about me from the words on my CV.
