I change my LinkedIn headline from time to time, depending on what type of work I’m currently looking for.
Currently I’ve set it as a “Technical Business Analyst” even though I’m continuing to write C# .Net SQL software for a select few clients.
I love Business Analysis work particularly for larger enterprise clients as it’s so satisfying solving problems at the very intersection of business and technology.
My hands on-coding only adds to the backdrop of my experience and understanding.
Don’t be put off that I’ve temporarily stopped calling myself a “Software Engineer” as I’ve always struggled to know what box to put myself in!!
