Tuesdays are for Craggy Island

Every Wednesday is post indoor rock climbing day.

When I wake up, the body is still tired but also relaxed from the recovery and come down.

Unfortunately, the feeling only lasts about a day before needing to hit the wall again for a “top up”.

Every year we go on a big climbing trip outdoors.

It will be Italy this year and I often forget ‘normal’ people don’t actually do this kind of semi-crazy stuff.

But boy, it really is fun.

(and before you ask, No, I don’t “enjoy” heights. I started climbing when I was carrying too much weight, my back was playing up and the GP said I needed to do something about it)

Ask any project manager about the key to their success, and they will say that delivering a project is often more like a "dark art" or by chance, than a predictable science.

They may also say that a project going 'off the rails' was one of the most stressful things they have professionally experienced. And unfortunately, it’s all too common.
