2019 – it’s been a blast

After a year out of the traditional 9 – 5 desk based employment in someone else’s office, it’s been a blast working on client projects from home, developing my own risk assessment tool for IT managers, spending quality time with the family and children every day, helping inside the classroom at the local primary school, and continuing with my volunteering counselling.

10 years ago when ‘chained to my desk’ in various investment banks and drinking too much in the evenings as a work ‘social activity’, I could never have imagined that my future working life would have turned out so well and so different.
